Shaping the decisions that define cities for generations
Localise is a strategic advisory practice working at the intersection of urban development, governance, and long-term decision-making.In an era of unprecedented urban acceleration, we embed intergenerational foresight into organisations shaping cities — building the capability to sustain legacies as local and institutional contexts evolve. We work with the public and private sectors across land use strategy, urban policy, and major infrastructure programs in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and beyond.

Localise works with executive and practitioner teams inside live strategy development and decision-making.We equip leaders with the business case, incentives, and tools to embed intergenerational foresight into how decisions are designed, implemented, and reviewed over time. This reduces legacy risk by making trade-offs between short-term priorities and long-term outcomes explicit and governable.Engagements typically begin with foundational capability building tailored to organisational requirements, followed by advisory and implementation support.
Localise Advisory is led by Inaara Jindani, an award-winning city planner, strategic advisor, and public speaker.Inaara’s work spans the Asia–Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, the Americas, and Africa. She has worked with local, state, and national governments, civil society, academia, and global organisations including the United Nations, on land use strategy, urban policy and governance, community participation, and major infrastructure delivery programs of up to $20 billion.Inaara holds a Bachelor of City Planning and a Master of Disaster Resilience and Sustainable Development. Most recently, she was recognised as an International Woman of Influence by the Royal Town Planning Institute and awarded a Next Generation Foresight Practitioner Fellowship with the School of International Futures.
